If you think of a mud puddle or melted snow the image doesn't seem appealing. In this photo it actually looks attractive opposed to repulsive, because of the reflection in the puddle. I applied a gaussian blur and made the image warmer.

Repulsive Image 1
This photo is repulsive because, well... there's mold on the strawberries. However, even though there's mold, it looks attractive because of how soft looking it is and how it looks against the strawberries. I applied a gaussian blur and changed the blending mode to overlay to make the colors pop out.

Texture/Color Montage
For this montage, my goal was to show the winter colors and the different textures of snow found outside. The color blue is shown throughout my montage, and i think it really presents a calming mood especially with the sunset in the background. There are different textures on the window, fence, and the trees. I also have a picture of a windshield behind the sunset image to make the texture of snow. I think these images all come together and represent the texture and colors of winter very well.
Body Image Montage
For this montage, my main goal was to show the viewer the issues of body image. The background image was Amber covering up her face like she was embarrassed or something. Then, to the left there's a picture of a typical model looking right at her to draw your attention to her. At the right, there's two images of her looking in the mirror kind of trying to look at her body and criticize it. I think this montage really shows how the media has a set picture for everyone, and when people don't meet those standards, they feel not good enough.

Day to night
I took this picture of my friend's house, Ashley, which is Pine Terrace. I was inspired to take this picture because when i thought of night time, this house popped into my head because i thought it would look cool. I created a new background, but i made sure that trees were still incorporated into it. Then, i made the light bright but not too over powering. I also made the snow a few shades darker as well as the house.
iPod
For my iPod image, i chose to use a simple pose. I really like how Katie's stance is because she has space in between her legs, and there is a little bit of space by her arm. Also, i made it so her thumb is going over the iPod so it makes it look realistic. Then for the background, I chose blue simply because it's my favorite color.
